Global Permissions

TESTaide integrates two types roles for users to gain access to a set of features for each role. The two roles are user roles that provide access on the system level & project permissions that provide access only to projects. Below you can find a table with the user roles/project permissions and the set of features it has access to. Refer to the project user management guide for managing project roles and the user permission management guide for managing user roles.

Here are different global permissions and what users can do with them.

User Roles	Project Admin	Users with this role are able to create new projects
Project Permissions	Project Manager	Users with this permission can manage all of the project aspects of the projects assign to them Project Management Category Management User Management Slack & Mail Notification Settings Create, Read, Update, Delete test plans, test cases, test suites Test execution (incl. creating new iterations)
	Create Plan/TC …	Users with this permission can manage most of the project aspects of the projects assign to them Project Management Category Create, Read, Update, Delete test plans, test cases, test suites Test execution (incl. creating new iterations)
	TC Execute	Users with this permission can only execute tests of projects assigned to them
	View Project	Users with this permission can only view projects assigned to them
