This document provides how to manage projects.

To manage projects, you need a permission such as Project Manager. For more information, please refer to Global Permissions.

Create Project

To create a project:

  1. In TESTaide home, click the ‘Create Poject’ button.

  2. In the ‘New Project’ pop-up window, enter the following information.

    • Project Type* : Choose from predefined project types.

    • Project Key* : Only uppercase letters or numbers are allowed.

    • Project Name* : The maximum length is 50 characters.

    • Description : The maximum length is 1000 characters.

    • Tags : You can search for projects at the top Tag Search with that tag.

    • Project Leader : Manager of the project

    • Jira Project Key : Jira project key with requirements related to the generated TESTaide project.

    • Start Date : Project start date

    • End Date : Project end date

    • Environment Name* : Choose a predefined test environment.(multiple choices possible)

  3. Click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom to complete the project creation.


Edit Project

To edit project details:

  1. In TESTaide home, select the project to be edited.

  2. In the project home, click the ‘More’ button on the top right. When a pop-up menu appears, select ‘Edit Project’.

  3. In the ‘Edit Project’ pop-up window, edit the project information. (Project Key cannot be edited)

  4. Click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom to complete the project edition.


Delete Project

To remove a project:

To remove a project, all test plans, test cases and test suites must be deleted.

  1. In TESTaide home, select the project to be removed.

  2. In the project home, click the ‘More’ button on the top right of the project. When pop-up menu appears, select ‘Delete Project’.

  3. When the deletion confirmation pop-up window appears, click the 'OK' button to complete the deletion.
