This document provides information on how to manage the permissions of the users.

Add Permission

A user is not able to have more than one permission, if you would rather change the permissions of a user, see the Edit Permissions section.

To add a permission to an user:

  1. Click the '⚙ Settings' button in the header.

  2. Select the ‘User Permission' menu on the sidebar.

  3. On the user permission page, click the ‘Add permission’ button on the top right.

  4. In the ‘Add Permission’ pop-up window, enter the following information.

    • Role*

      • Project Manager : A user who can mange all projects.

      • System Admin : A user who can manage TESTaide.

    • User* : A user to be assigned the role.

  5. Click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom to complete adding a role and permissions to the user.

Edit Permission

To edit a permission, follow these steps:

  1. Click the '⚙ Settings' button in the header.

  2. Select the ‘User Permission' menu on the sidebar.

  3. From the list of users, click the '✎' from the Action column on the user you want to edit the permissions for.

  4. On the ‘Edit Permission’ pop-up window, edit the permission.

    1. Note that the User field cannot be changed.

  5. Click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom to save the changes.


Delete Permission

To remove a permission, follow these steps:

  1. Click the '⚙ Settings' button in the header.

  2. Select the ‘User Permission’ menu on the sidebar.

  3. From the list of users, click the '🗑' from the Action column on the user you want to remove.

  4. When the deletion confirmation pop-up window appears, click the 'OK' button to complete the deletion.
