This document provides guidelines on how to create and manage test suites in the TESTaide application.

To be able to manage test planssuites, you need a permission will need to have the correct permissions, such as Project Manager, Create Plan/TC … . For more information, please refer to Global Permissions.

  • A test suite is like treated as a group grouping of test cases. It is recommended to use test suites when you need to group test cases together instead of using categories.

  • Even Note that even if the a test case is the same, if it is included in different contained in multiple test suites, it is considered as a separate test case. So the test operates the system will consider the test case as different units, operating them separately.

There are two ways to change the order of test cases in a test suite, Dragging & Dropping or by using the Up & Down arrows:

Drag & Drop

To use the drag & drop feature, follow these steps

  1. Click and hold the ☰ icon in front of the key of the test case you want to change the order of.

  2. Drag and

  • Click Alternatively, by clicking either the up or down arrow on the 'Action' column for the test case you want a project, you are able to change the order ofrespectively.
