Mail Settings

This document provides how configure the SMTP mail server.

Mail Settings

To configure mail server:

  1. In TESTaide home, click the ‘Administration’ button in header.

  2. Select the ‘Mail Settings’ menu on the sidebar.

  3. In the mail setting page, enter the following information.

    • Subject prefix : The subject prefix to use when sending email notifications.

    • SMTP host* : The host address. ex)

    • SMTP port* : SMTP port number to use

    • Username : The username to use when connecting to the mail server.

    • Password : The password to use when connecting to the mail server.

    • Connection Time(seconds)* : Maximum time that TESTaide tries to send emails (default : 60 seconds.)

    • Enable Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) : SMTP server requires encryption.


  4. Click the ‘Connection Test’ button to test. If the connection test fails, check if you entered incorrect information.

  5. If the connection test is successful, click the ‘Save’ button to complete the email configuration.
