Register Defects As Jira Issue

The document provides how to register defects as Jira issue.

 

Jira Project Key in the project, Requirement in test case must be entered.

 

To register defects as a bug issue type of Jira:

  1. In TESTaide home, select a project that has defects.

  2. Select the 'Test Execution' menu on the left sidebar.

  3. In the test execution page, select a test plan that you want to register defects.

  4. Select a regression with failed test results.

  5. In test case list, select a test case that you want to register defects.

  6. In the test execution detail page, click the ‘Defect’ button. (If you are not logged in to Jira, you must log in.)

  7. In the issue creation page of Jira that you customized, enter the information.

  8. If you complete creating an issue, in the test execution detail page of TESTaide, you can see the issue key of the defect.
